Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires[1] (stylized as Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 4: Dawn of the Vampires, often shortened to Zombies 4 (stylized as Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 4) or abbreviated as Z4) is an upcoming Disney+ Original Movie, which is a sequel to the 2022 film, Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3, and the fourth installment of the Z-O-M-B-I-E-S franchise.[2]
Synopsis[]
Zombies 4 follows Zed and Addison as they embark on a road trip for the summer after their first year of college. As adventures unfold, they unexpectedly discover the warring worlds of Sunnyside and Shadyside and come into contact with two new groups of monsters.[2]

Production[]
On February 10, 2024, Zombies 4 received the green light from Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television, during Disney’s 2024 Television Critics Association winter press tour. Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will also executive produce. Paul Hoen will return to direct the fourth installment. The movie was written by David Light, Joseph Raso, and Josh Cagan. In addition to Manheim and Donnelly, the film’s executive producers include Hoen, Light, Raso, Jane Fleming and Mark Ordesky. Mahita P. Simpson is a co-executive producer on the film, which is a production of Bloor Street Productions.[2] On April 19, 2024, the title Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires was confirmed.[1]
Casting[]
In February 2024, Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Chandler Kinney, Kylee Russell and Carla Jeffery were confirmed to reprise their roles, with newcomers Freya Skye and Malachi Barton joining the cast.[3][2] In March 2024, Swayam Ranjeet Bhatia, Julian Lerner, Mekonnen Knife, Lisa Chappell and Jonno Robert joined the cast.[4]

- This is the fourth Disney Channel Original Movie to be a fourth installment to an existing franchise after Return to Halloweentown, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, and Descendants: The Rise of Red.
- This is the first movie in the franchise to not be filmed in Toronto, Canada.
- Based off of the production year, it is likely that the movie will release in 2025 or later.
- This will make it the first movie in the franchise to not release 2 years after the last movie.
- It seems like Bucky, The Acey’s, Bonzo, Wyatt, Wynter, A-Spen, A-Lan and A-Li will not appear in this film due to their actors not being in the cast photos so far.
- It is unknown if Vanna and her family will appear in this film.
- This will be the first film in the franchise where it is not set at Seabrook High School.
