Moonstone Necklaces are accessories that the werewolves wear. They are special necklaces with pieces of the moonstone. These necklaces need to be charged every 100 years. A wolf without a charged necklace gets very sick and eventually dies.
However, it has been shown in both Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2 and Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3 that Wyatt can survive for longer periods of time without the necklace. In Z2, he snuck into Seabrook and pretended to be an electrician without his necklace. In Z3, he took the necklace off and swung it around while talking to Eliza. It is unknown if the other werewolves have the same ability.
After "Call to the Wild" Addison is offered a fully charged moonstone, the Alpha Moonstone necklace. Since the wolves think she may be the Great Alpha and if she is, the necklace will turn her into a full Werewolf.
Each of the werewolf characters in the movie has a unique moonstone. Addison also keeps the Alpha necklace, even though she is not the Great Alpha.
